My Response to Svetlana (Australia)
Doug R. (England)
The ‘bread’ article
can be summarised as follows:
Although bread is fundamental for life, capitalists leave its distribution
to entrepreneurs.
Leaving such an important matter to such people demonstrates the difference
between capitalist and centralist systems, and the importance of
entrepreneurs in our culture.
I explained why and how entrepreneurs are essential to all progress.
I emphasised how their essential characteristics make them unpopular with
most people.
Their disruptive attitude makes them uncomfortable people to work with.
Other characteristics make them uncomfortable to live with.
They operate by opening a business enterprise. These enterprises have a high
loss rate.
Entrepreneurs starting them will experience economic peaks, valleys and
maybe failure.
This is not attractive to most married women. Thinking of their family, they
prefer a settled reliable and steady income as received when their husband
has a job.
A job is anathema to an entrepreneur.
This is why I claim an entrepreneur needs a special sort of wife.
She will need to support him during bad times, and enjoy the benefits as
they arrive.
This is not anti women. It points to the importance of the right woman for
this man.
Concerning the matters raised by Svetlana of Australia.
1.
Why does the entrepreneur culture work in the west and not in the east?
Not so and I didn’t say that.
Western established organisations, as any other centralist culture including
Russia, do not welcome disruptive questioning entrepreneurs.
French traditional dirigist attitude has always been a French economic
weakness.
My attitude is not anti Russia. It is against centralised control wherever
found.
This why I used bread distribution as my example.
2.
Svetlana takes exception to my patronising attitude towards Russian women.
I have written several articles on the subject of why Russian women are so
popular and sought after for potential marriage partners.
I quoted how the internet allows ordinary people to make personal
connections leading to personal relationships.
I also warned how easy it is to tell lies. Why women should be especially
wary of their personal security when crossing culture and language
differences.
I identified other characteristics attractive to western men.
I quoted how Russian women are a welcome breath of fresh air with their
traditional attitude of respect towards themselves, their family and the
concept of making a home.
How refreshing it is that they pay attention to their appearance and
behaviour.
I pointed out how this is so different from our own ‘laddish’ younger women.
These try to copy and ‘be equal’ with their boyfriends, while betraying
their lack of self control and self respect.
Emancipation?
Many feminine aspects no longer exist in so-called modern western women.
On their road to emancipation they have lost a great deal.
Is it patronising to open a door for a woman?
I was recently castigated for doing exactly that.
If this is patronising then so be it. I am happily guilty.
3.
I quoted items from an article by Elena Vedekind whose
advice to Natalia was
to leave her husband and his debts. None of the details now quoted by
Svetlana were available to me.
This may be one of the problems in relying on a simplistic on-line
translation system.
After reading Svetlana’ explanation, I agree the Elena Vedekind advice was
correct.
I should not, and would not have quoted the case of Natalia, if I had known.
My bread article obviously did not make my arguments with sufficient
clarity.
I will try to do better in future.
Sincerely,
Doug R.(England)
